About us
About Thermo Shield
We make homes in New York more comfortable and cheaper to heat and cool, starting with a free home energy assessment.
Thermo Shield is an insulation and air sealing contractor working in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Yonkers and Westchester County, Nassau County, and parts of Suffolk County.
We focus on the parts of a house that lose the most heat: walls, attics, garage ceilings, crawlspaces, and the gaps around windows and doors. Our team is BPI Certified, and we are licensed and insured.
As a NYSERDA EmPower+ Participating Contractor, we help income-eligible homeowners get this work done at no cost or reduced cost, and we help with all the paperwork. Our free assessment is open to every homeowner, whether or not they qualify for a program.
